Studio Cabana, the youth romance manga by Uma Aguri serialized on the webcomic platform Silph, has been officially confirmed for a TV anime adaptation set to air in 2027.
Story
The series centers on Kusaka Yusuke, a strikingly handsome boy who radiates an unapproachable aura, and Maki Yukari, a earnest girl who isn’t the least bit intimidated by him and doesn’t hesitate to call him out. Their relationship begins to shift after Yukari stumbles upon Yusuke singing alone in a music studio. The newly revealed teaser visual captures the pair’s first encounter on the school rooftop, which opens the story.

Comments
“Studio Cabana is a work I’ve cherished since before I even became a manga artist. Maki, Yusuke, and the others who have lived in my head for years are about to leap out into the world through the hands of so many talented professionals — they’re going to talk!? Move!? I can’t stop trembling at this unimaginable turn of events. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone involved, and to every reader who has supported me along the way.”
— Uma Aguri (original author)
“Congratulations on the anime adaptation! I’m Suzushiro Sayumi, and I’ll be playing Maki Yukari. I still remember the moment I first read the original work — the stylish, refreshing atmosphere, Uma Aguri-sensei’s beautiful art, and beneath it all, the delicate and deeply felt emotional exchanges that grabbed my heart instantly. Nearly four years later, I’m so happy to be walking alongside Maki-san in the anime as well. I’ll pour my heart into every single feeling Yukari experiences. I hope everyone enjoys the world of this story in anime form too!”
— Suzushiro Sayumi (voice of Maki Yukari)
