Japanese fashion brand MAYLA — known for its tagline “raises your body temperature by 2°C” — has unveiled a new luxury pumps collection titled JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Iconic Shoes Object Pumps. The line captures the essence of four iconic characters: Jotaro Kujo, Noriaki Kakyoin, Iggy, and DIO. Pre-orders are now live on MAYLA’s official e-commerce site.
About JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is the landmark manga series by Hirohiko Araki, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1986. Spanning the intertwined fates of the Joestar bloodline and their nemesis Dio Brando, the series has sold over 120 million copies worldwide. Its ninth part, The JOJOLands, is currently serialized in Ultra Jump.
Stardust Crusaders: The Third Arc
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders adapts the manga’s third part as a TV anime, airing in two cours: April–September 2014 and January–June 2015. The story follows Jotaro Kujo, a young man who awakens a Stand ability after DIO’s resurrection. Alongside his grandfather Joseph and a group of companions, Jotaro sets out to defeat DIO and save his mother Holly, who has fallen gravely ill under DIO’s curse. Their journey takes them across the world to Egypt, where DIO awaits.
Design Details by Character
- Jotaro Kujo [BK-3] — Star motifs drawn from his Stand “Star Platinum” and associated Tarot imagery, with an original metal part replicating the iconic decoration on Jotaro’s hat.
- Noriaki Kakyoin [GR-3] — A diamond pattern evoking his Stand “Hierophant Green,” accented by a cherry-shaped metal part referencing Kakyoin’s favourite fruit.
- Iggy [MQ-3] — An original pattern inspired by Iggy’s paw pads and the sand of his Stand “The Fool,” with a face-shaped metal part that blends cuteness and luxury.
- DIO [YE-3] — Motifs referencing “The World’s” time-stopping ability and blade gears. The clock hands are fixed at 5:15, the moment time froze during DIO’s battle with Kakyoin. A green-heart metal part echoes DIO’s costume and Stand design.
Each model is available in two versions: ON Ver (with ribbon) for fans who want the full JoJo aesthetic, and OFF Ver (without ribbon) for everyday wear.
