The TV anime series Free Fire Daybreak, based on the popular mobile game Garena Free Fire, has released its official synopsis and first teaser PV.
About Garena Free Fire
Garena Free Fire is an immersive battle royale game for mobile users developed by Garena, in which players fight against one another in a bid to be the last one standing.
Production and Broadcast
The anime is a co-production between KADOKAWA and Singapore-based game company Garena Online Private Limited. It is scheduled to broadcast and stream in Spring 2027.
Synopsis
The story is set in a near-future city called New Dawn, ruled by the powerful megacorporation Horizon. It follows a young girl named Kelly, who has lost her memories and sets out to uncover the truth about her past as well as the secrets hidden within Horizon’s so-called “Talent Bloom Program.”
On her 16th birthday, Kelly awakens to a special ability that allows her to “unlock” virtually anything. Armed with this power and the new allies she meets along the way, she confronts her own destiny. The teaser PV also features characters from the original game, including Hayato and Moco.
