The 2012 theatrical anime Momo e no Tegami (A Letter to Momo) is set to return to the big screen for a one-day-only special screening on August 29 at UDX Theater in Tokyo.
Following the screening, Ando Masashi — the film’s character designer and animation director — will host a special talk show for attendees.
About Momo e no Tegami
The film was directed by Okiura Hiroyuki, best known for Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, and took an extraordinary seven years to complete. Animation production was handled by Production I.G.
Set on a small, tranquil island in the Seto Inland Sea, the story follows a young girl named Momo as she encounters three mischievous yokai — Iwa, Kawa, and Mame — and experiences a series of mysterious and heartwarming events that ultimately weave together a tale of family and love.

Tickets for the special screening will go on sale on August 12 at 7:00 PM JST via the Dripass website. Fans are encouraged to check the site as soon as sales open to secure their seats.
