With many Summer 2026 TV anime series having aired their opening episodes, fan attention has turned not only to storylines but also to the ending (ED) themes — those roughly 90-second musical snapshots that capture each show’s world in miniature.
Anime news site Anime!Anime! conducted a reader poll titled “Which Summer 2026 Anime Theme Song Do You Like?”, collecting responses from 16 to 23 July. Respondents were roughly split evenly between male and female, with viewers aged 19 and under and those in their 20s each accounting for around 20% of participants, while the 30s age group made up the largest share at approximately 35%.

Standout ED Themes This Season
Among the most discussed entries are the ED from Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken performed by Tadokoro Azusa, the ED from Bungou Stray Wans performed by Akutagawa Ryunosuke (CV: Ono Kensho), and the ED from Yomi no Tsugai performed by Sugawara Kei.
Continuing series and second-cours titles drew particular enthusiasm, reflecting strong ongoing loyalty from fans who have followed these franchises across multiple seasons.
