Diorama Acrylic Stand จากAnime Patlabor แสดงตัวละคร Yuma, Noa, Goto และ Nagumo

Fans of Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor (Mobile Police Patlabor) have a new set of collectibles to look forward to. A series of four Diorama Acrylic Stands has been announced, each recreating a memorable scene from the long-running franchise using newly drawn illustrations supervised by original character designer Takata Akemi. The multi-layered construction gives each piece genuine three-dimensional depth.

About the Franchise

Patlabor has been a beloved fixture of Japanese pop culture since its debut OVA series (now known as Early Days) in 1988, expanding into a manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday by Yuuki Masami, a TV anime series, theatrical films directed by Oshii Mamoru, and novels by screenwriter Itou Kazunori. The franchise is currently in the spotlight again with the new anime series Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor EZY, directed by mecha designer Izubuchi Yutaka. The eight-episode, three-chapter series launched in May 2026, with Chapter 2 — Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor EZY File 2 — now screening from August 14.

Characters Featured

The acrylic stand lineup brings together a wide cast of fan favorites: Izumi Noa, Shinohara Yuma, Gotou Kiichi, Nagumo Shinobu, Kanuka Clancy, Kumagami Takeo, as well as antagonists Utsumi, Badrinath Harchand, and Kurosaki.

The Four Designs

Diorama Acrylic Stand A — [Yuma, Noa, and Shirowani]

This design recreates a scene from Episode 13 of the NEW OVA Series, “Dungeon Futatabi (Dungeon Again).” Rather than printing Yuma and Noa onto the background panel, the figures are physically suspended to maximize the sense of depth. The creators noted they would have liked to include the full cast as seen in the episode, but structural limitations made that impossible. Yuma and Noa measure 70×184 mm; the background panel is 137×197 mm.

Diorama Acrylic Stand B — [Goto-san and Nagumo-san]

The two senior officers of Section 2’s Special Vehicles Unit — Gotou and Nagumo — share a quiet moment around a daruma stove. Their uniforms are based on the second theatrical film, and the scene captures the mature, understated dynamic between the two characters.

Diorama Acrylic Stand C — [Kanuka and Kumagami-san]

Inspired by the drinking scene shared by Kanuka and Kumagami in Episode 9 of the NEW OVA, “VS (Versus),” this piece uses the diorama format to full effect. Fans may find themselves imagining what it would look like if Ingram Unit 2’s forward operator, Ohta Isamu, were to join the gathering.

Diorama Acrylic Stand D — [Bad, Utsumi-san, and Kurosaki-kun]

Shaft Enterprise Japan’s Tokyo branch Planning Division 7 gets its moment in the spotlight, with Utsumi, his subordinate Kurosaki, and Griffon pilot Badrinath captured in a brief moment of downtime. The background is modeled on the Tsuchiura Research Facility, and the Griffon unit is rendered as a separate component for added dimensionality, matching the approach used in Stand A.

How to Order

Each design is available individually, and a bundled Diorama Acrylic Stand ABCD Set is also on offer at a favorable price. All items are produced strictly on a made-to-order basis, with pre-orders open until Sunday, September 13, 2026, through the official AA (AnotherAngle) online store and participating anime merchandise retailers.
