The television anime adaptation of Kotobukiya‘s Arcanadea bishōjo plastic model series dropped its first teaser promotional video on Saturday, alongside a full main staff lineup, additional cast announcements, and a confirmed debut window of January 2027.

The anime will air on TV Asahi and a total of 24 stations across Japan under the NUMAnimation programming block, as well as on BS Asahi.

Kotobukiya is credited with the original work. The key staff are as follows:

Story
The “sci-fi x fantasy” franchise is set in the near future, where the discovery of a new energy source called Arcana Particles by Eden Industries sparked rapid global technological advancement. Among the fruits of this progress is Eden, the world’s largest virtual space server, which hosts the VRMMO ARCANADEA — a fully immersive fantasy world.
One night, during routine maintenance of the Eden server, an explosion rocks Eden Industries. In the aftermath, the world is thrown into chaos: abnormal weather patterns, widespread communication failures, mysterious disappearances, and reports of people manifesting dramatically enhanced physical abilities.
About the Franchise
The Arcanadea franchise launched in December 2021 and has shipped over 500,000 figures as of June 2025. Beyond plastic models, it has expanded into various merchandise and a series of ASMR CDs. The franchise’s official website also publishes an ongoing four-panel manga.
