Talent agency Music Ray’n announced on Monday that it has suspended all activities of voice actress Moka Hinata through the end of December 2026, after confirming that she engaged in conduct that “severely damaged trust” with the parties involved.
The agency did not disclose specifics of the incident, but clarified that no violations of laws or regulations were identified in connection with the matter. Music Ray’n issued an apology to all affected parties and to everyone who has supported Hinata and her vocal unit DayRe:, adding that it will review its internal management systems to prevent a recurrence and will work to the utmost to rebuild the trust that has been lost.
Hinata herself posted a personal apology to fans and those involved via her X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that she will take time to reflect on herself in the hope of one day reuniting with her fans.
Moka Hinata’s Notable Roles
Hinata is best known for voicing Mei Hayasaka in the 2021 anime Idoly Pride. She has also appeared in a number of other anime titles, including:

The vocal unit DayRe: consists of five members: Kanata Aikawa, Mirai Tachibana, Kokona Natsume, Moka Hinata, and Koharu Miyazawa. The group was formed after all members passed the 3rd Music Ray’n Super Voice Actor Audition, held in 2017.
