The production team behind the Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) anime, based on Hitsuji Gondaira‘s manga, has released a new promotional video and key visual for Season 2 Part 2, confirming its theme songs and premiere date.
Theme Songs and Premiere Date
The new promotional video reveals that Part 2 will feature the opening theme “Forever Song” performed by rock band Humbreaders, and the ending theme “I’m still breathing” by dance and vocal group KID PHENOMENON. The video also confirms that Season 2 Part 2 will premiere on October 11 at 5:00 p.m. JST on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliated channels.
Story
High school student Taiyou Asano has struggled socially ever since losing his family in a car accident. His only real connection is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura, who leads the world’s most powerful spy family. Her overprotective eldest brother, Kyouichirou Yozakura, sets his lethal sights on Taiyou — forcing him to marry Mutsumi and join the Yozakura family to survive. Now a rookie spy, Taiyou works to grow stronger in order to protect his wife while uncovering the dark secrets of both his own past and the Yozakura family.

Season 2 Background
Season 2 launched on April 12 as part of the Sunday “Nichigo” programming block at 5:00 p.m. JST on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliated channels, with Hulu handling streaming duties. Part 1 concluded with the anime’s overall 39th episode on June 28.
Season 1 aired in Japan in April 2024. Disney streams the series via Hulu in the United States with an English dub, while it is also available on Prime Video and Netflix in Japan.
About the Manga
Gondaira, also known for Demon Prince Poro’s Diaries, launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2019. The series concluded in January 2025, with the 29th and final compiled volume published by Shueisha in March 2025.
Viz Media has simultaneously published the manga in English digitally since its Japanese debut, began releasing digital volumes in December 2020, and launched the physical print edition with Volume 1 in October 2022. Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service also offers the manga in English digitally. The franchise additionally encompasses several novels.
