Fans of Chiikawa (ちいかわ) have something to look forward to: the “ちいかわぽけっと mini POP UP STORE” — a pop-up retail event tied to the Chiikawa Pocket smartphone app by creator Nagano — is set to roll out at venues across Japan. The tour opens at Sapporo PARCO in Hokkaido on September 18, 2026.
Background
The mini pop-up series follows the success of the original “ちいかわぽけっと POP UP STORE”, which was held at five locations nationwide and drew an enthusiastic response. The new “mini” format is designed to bring the experience to a wider range of cities in a more compact, flexible setup.
