Bandai Namco Pictures released the first main promotional video for the brand-new television anime Keroro Gunsō ☆ on Monday, revealing the show’s entirely new voice cast, full production staff, and premiere date.

Keroro Gunsō ☆ will debut on October 3 at 9:30 a.m. on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations.
All-New Voice Cast
The new anime features a completely fresh cast — a departure from the recent theatrical film Shin Gekijōban ☆ Keroro Gunsō Fukkatsu Shite Sokkō Chikyū Metsubō no Kiki de Arimasu!, which opened in June and brought back the returning cast from previous installments. The new cast is as follows:
- Makoto Koichi as Sergeant Keroro
- Toshiki Masuda as Corporal Giroro
- Satoshi Inomata as Lance Corporal Dororo
- Rika Nagae as Private Second Class Tamama
- Kōsuke Echigoya as Sergeant Major Kululu

Nobuhiro Kondō (Shōnen Ashibe GO! GO! Goma-chan, Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, Cardfight!! Vanguard GZ) serves as chief director, while Akihiko Sano (Farmagia; animation director on Medaka Box) directs the series at BN Pictures, with production cooperation from Bridge and AISLE.

About the Franchise
Keroro Gunsō follows Sergeant Keroro, the bumbling leader of an alien platoon dispatched to conquer Earth, whose invasion plans go spectacularly sideways. The original Sunrise TV anime, based on Mine Yoshizaki‘s manga, ran from 2004 to 2011 across 358 episodes and spawned five theatrical films. The 20th-anniversary film Shin Gekijōban ☆ Keroro Gunsō Fukkatsu Shite Sokkō Chikyū Metsubō no Kiki de Arimasu! opened in Japan on June 26, debuting at #4 at the box office and earning approximately 150,809,200 yen (about US$927,900) in its opening weekend.
Crunchyroll added the original TV anime to its catalog in 2021. Discotek has been releasing all 358 episodes on SD Blu-ray Disc by season in North America, with seasons 5–7 released last year.
