The official website for Tempal: Item no Chikara (Tempal ~The Power of Items~), the television anime adaptation of South Korean webtoon studio REDICE STUDIO’s Overgeared, has released a third trailer alongside a new key visual and two additional cast announcements.
The trailer previews the opening theme song “SATISFY” by rock band Re:name and the ending theme “Ray of Emotion” performed by virtual singer TAO.

Story
In real life, Youngwoo Shin is a deadbeat scraping by on odd jobs to pay off his debts — a hopeless video game addict in the eyes of even his own family. Inside the massively popular VR game Satisfy, however, he becomes Grid the Warrior… who is equally mediocre. Everything shifts when he stumbles upon a tome holding the lost secrets of a legendary blacksmith. The catch: using it wipes all his levels. Forced back to square one, Grid must sharpen his skills and build a team of allies — or simply rely on god-tier gear to carry him through.

Premiere & Streaming
The anime premieres on October 2 at 11:30 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and BS11. Crunchyroll will stream the series globally and will also screen it theatrically across the U.S. and Canada on September 21 as part of its “Crunchyroll Anime Nights” program, with Japanese audio and English subtitles.
Source Material
The webtoon is based on a web novel by Sae Nal Park, written by Dong Wook Lee with art by Team Argo. Yen Press publishes the English edition under its Ize Press label — Volume 11 released on August 18. The webtoon is also available digitally on Tapas, while the original web novel can be read in English on both Tapas and WuxiaWorld.
