Kadokawa has unveiled a new promotional visual alongside four additional cast members for the upcoming television anime based on Ayune Araragi‘s manga Isshiki-san Wants to Know About Love (一色さんは恋を知りたい。).

Kazuya Komai — previously an episode director on Tenjho Tenge, BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, and Pita-Ten — is directing the series at Sakura Create. Deko Akao, known for her series composition work on Komi Can’t Communicate, Noragami, and The Case Study of Vanitas, is overseeing the scripts, while Shōhei Hamaguchi (Glamorous Heroes) handles character design.

Story
The romantic comedy centers on Isshiki Rinna Milford, a strait-laced, elite officer who joined the police force at just 17 years old but has never experienced romantic love, and Meishi Rokutanda, a kindhearted yet scatterbrained and bumbling detective. As two complete novices when it comes to romance, the pair become a couple of sorts as they navigate the mysteries of love together.
About the Manga
Araragi launched the manga in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in June 2020. The 10th compiled volume went on sale on May 25.
Yen Press has licensed the manga for English release, with the first volume scheduled for October 13 under the title Isshiki-san Wants to Know About Love — a revision of the company’s earlier announced title, Ms. Isshiki Wants to Know About Love.
