OceanVeil announced on Thursday that it will simultaneously stream the anime adaptation of My Girlfriend’s Friend (Kanojo no Tomodachi), based on the manga by Jura, beginning October 4.
Story
Takeru Hidaka believed he had found simple happiness with his sweet, cheerful first girlfriend, Kaori. But his quiet high school life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Kaori’s glamorous best friend, Tomoko — striking, enigmatic, and effortlessly alluring. Through subtle glances and unexpected closeness, Tomoko begins drawing Takeru into her orbit. Torn between his genuine feelings for Kaori and an irresistible pull toward Tomoko, Takeru’s heart and resolve are constantly put to the test. Can he hold the line of devotion, or will hidden desires redefine everything?
