An official collaboration visual has been revealed for the theatrical anime Mahoutsukai no Yoru (魔法使いの夜) and the anime series Fate/Zero. The newly drawn illustration was created by ufotable, the animation studio behind both productions.
The visual was produced to mark two milestones coinciding at the same time: the theatrical release of Mahoutsukai no Yoru and the 15th anniversary of Fate/Zero‘s broadcast. It brings together the iconic heroines of each series — Aozaki Aoko from Mahoutsukai no Yoru and Saber from Fate/Zero — appearing side by side for the first time.
“Let’s Watch Together! TYPE-MOON × ufotable” Project
Alongside the collab visual, a special project titled 「みんなで観よう!TYPE-MOON×ufotable」 has been announced, encompassing several fan activities:
- A Fate/Zero selection broadcast will air on Fuji TV (Kanto local) beginning November 2, with episodes chosen by viewer vote.
- All 25 episodes of Fate/Zero will stream for free on ABEMA‘s Anime LIVE channel, starting October 10 over a 12-day period.
Mahoutsukai no Yoru — Theatrical Anime
Mahoutsukai no Yoru is based on the TYPE-MOON game written by Kinoko Nasu, the creator of the Fate universe. The film is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on November 20, 2026.
