Animate Girls Festival 2026 (AGF2026) — the large-scale Ikebukuro event dedicated to anime, manga, voice actors, merchandise, otome games, and cosplay — is set to run from November 7 to 8, 2026 at Sunshine City Ikebukuro and surrounding venues. Among the exhibiting booths, YTE will hold an early sale of a brand-new merchandise line from TV anime Tougen Anki based on the newly drawn visual series “Étoile Style -Hoshikage- (星影)”.
About Tougen Anki
Tougen Anki is adapted from the manga by Urushihara Yurai, serialised in Weekly Shōnen Champion (Akita Shoten), with a cumulative print run exceeding 6.5 million copies. The series reimagines the classic Japanese folktale Momotarō as a dark-hero oni tale, depicting the conflict between those who carry the blood of oni and those who carry the blood of Momotarō.
The TV anime is directed by Nonaka Ato, with animation production by Studio Hibari. The main cast includes Urawa Ki as protagonist Ichinose Shiki, Kamiya Hiroshi as Mudano Mujin (instructor at Rasetsu Academy), and Nishiyama Kōtarō as Kōgōzaki Jin (Shiki’s classmate). The currently airing “Nikkō · Kegon-no-Taki Arc” continues the story that followed the “Kyoto & Nerima Arc,” which aired from July to December 2025.
The “Étoile Style -Hoshikage-” Collection
The “Étoile Style -Hoshikage-“ series features newly drawn artwork imagining the characters dressed in elegant, fantastical constellation-inspired costumes against a starlit night sky. The lineup covers all nine characters: Ichinose Shiki, Mudano Mujin, Kōgōzaki Jin, Yaarashi Ikari, Oiranzaka Kyōya, Yodogawa Masumi, Nekozaki Hakure, Innami Yū, and Todoroki Satsu.
Note: Characters currently shown as silhouettes in the preview visuals will be revealed at a later date.
