Megahouse has opened pre-orders for a new entry in its Lucrea Lite (Lucreaらいと) figure line: Lacus Clyne in a Swimsuit Ver. from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM. The item is currently available to reserve through the official Bandai e-commerce platform Premium Bandai.
Figure Details
Standing approximately 185 mm (about 18 cm) tall, the figure captures Lacus in a striking white-and-pink bikini — colours closely associated with the character — posed as if glancing back over her shoulder in a fleeting, graceful moment. The flowing pose accentuates her silhouette and is designed to display easily even in limited shelf space.
Sculpting is handled by Kurokawa Riku, with painting by namoji. The figure comes pre-painted and includes a dedicated display base. Materials are PVC and ABS, and it is recommended for ages 15 and up.
Background: The Gundam SEED Franchise
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is set in the Cosmic Era (C.E.), a future where genetically engineered Coordinators and naturally born Naturals coexist in uneasy tension. The first series began airing in 2002, followed by Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny as its sequel.
On 26 January 2024, the theatrical film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM opened in Japan and went on to become the highest-grossing Gundam theatrical release of all time. Looking ahead, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO — set between the events of SEED Destiny and SEED FREEDOM — is scheduled to open in January 2027.
