The new manga series Darwin’s Game ~Flag Game~ made its debut on October 15 in the November 2026 issue of Bessatsu Shōnen Champion, published by Akita Shoten. The series is a manga adaptation of a spinoff novel from the main Darwin’s Game franchise, with FLIPFLOPS handling the story and Gūno providing the artwork.
Story Overview
The original Darwin’s Game follows Kaname, an ordinary high school student who gets pulled into a deadly mobile game where players battle one another using special abilities — with their lives on the line.
The spinoff, Darwin’s Game ~Flag Game~, turns the spotlight on two fan-favourite members of Kaname’s clan, Sunset Ravens: Shuka Kano, the fearsome fighter known as the “Undefeated Queen,” and Rain, the clan’s enigmatic information broker. The series will delve into the past of both characters, revealing the events that shaped them before the main story began.
Launch Bonus
To celebrate the series launch, the November issue comes bundled with a special clear file featuring memorable scenes of Rain and Shuka. The opening chapter also received a colour lead (巻頭カラー) treatment in the magazine.
Bessatsu Shōnen Champion November 2026 is on sale now in Japan.
