The manga 王太子の最愛姫 亡国の元王女は隣国で初めての恋を知る (The Crown Prince’s Beloved Princess: The Former Princess of a Fallen Kingdom Discovers Her First Love in a Neighboring Land) has released its first volume on October 16 through KADOKAWA.
The series is drawn by Yoshiki Shinahara (篠原佳暉) and is based on the original story by Mirai Takaoka (高岡未来). It tells a classic Cinderella romance shaped by fate and first love.
Story
Fortina, a princess of a defeated nation, is moments away from execution when she is rescued by Ludwig, the crown prince of a neighboring kingdom. Having grown up isolated from the outside world and subjected to oppression, Fortina has lost even the ability to feel emotions.
Ludwig takes her under his protection and brings her back to his homeland. Though Fortina barely understands the meaning of being alive, her time spent with Ludwig gradually thaws her frozen heart — and for the first time, she begins to experience something she has never known before.
