AIR TWOKYO has launched pre-orders for a new apparel and goods collection based on 攻殻機動隊 THE GHOST IN THE SHELL (Ghost in the Shell: The Ghost in the Shell), featuring iconic scenes and characters rendered in a striking cyber graphic art style. Pre-orders are open now via the AIR TWOKYO official website, beginning October 22, 2026.

About Ghost in the Shell

Originally created by Shirow Masamune and first published in the Young Magazine special edition “Kaitaiban” in 1989, Ghost in the Shell is a landmark cyberpunk franchise set in a near future where advanced networking technology and cybernetics allow people to connect their brains directly to a digital world. The story follows a special ops unit led by full-body cyborg Kusanagi Motoko as they combat cybercrime. Over the decades, the franchise has expanded to include films directed by Mamoru Oshii, multiple anime series, and a Hollywood live-action adaptation, influencing creators worldwide.

The latest TV anime entry, Ghost in the Shell: THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, aired its final episode on September 8, 2026, and is currently streaming on Prime Video and other services.
