TBS has announced “Anime no Ba,” an anime fan event scheduled for November 7 at Akasaka Sacas and the TBS Akasaka BLITZ Studio in Tokyo. Alongside the announcement, TBS revealed an event visual drawn by illustrator Okawa Bukubu, along with details on planned programs, talk stages, and a public recording session.
The main visual centers on a television set as its key icon, with Okawa Bukubu illustrating Meru & Anri — the official characters of DigiCon6 created by Misato Asaki.
Pre-Event: “Neon Genesis Evangelion All-Night Domino Plan”
The night before the main event, on November 6 starting at 8:30 p.m., TBS Akasaka BLITZ Studio will host a special pre-event titled “Neon Genesis Evangelion All-Night Domino Plan.” Two activities will run simultaneously throughout the night:
- A domino art installation comprising tens of thousands of pieces, built by 100 fans to depict Evangelion Unit-01 and the Angel Ramiel
- A back-to-back screening of all 26 episodes of the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series
The approximately 11.5-hour session will run until 8:00 a.m. on November 7. Once the domino art is complete, the pieces will be toppled in a sequence inspired by the iconic Yashima Operation from the series.
