Story
On the surface, Satoko has it all — beauty, noble lineage, and the right age for marriage. But she is gravely ill with little time left to live. Before she can secure a match to redeem herself in her family’s eyes, she becomes the target of the mysterious assassin Shinpei, throwing her plans into chaos. In a desperate bid to survive, she proposes marriage to him. For Shinpei, however, the vow “until death do us part” is something he takes very seriously indeed.
Manga & Other Media
Tachibana launched the manga on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app in January 2023. The 13th compiled volume was released on October 19. Viz Media publishes the manga in English. A live-action television adaptation is also in the works, slated to debut in 2027.
