The TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS, based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, has unveiled the seventh installment of its monthly Seasonal Visuals project. This edition is themed around Halloween, and comes with a newly drawn illustration as well as a short mini audio drama.
New Illustration: The X (Slur) Crew Dress Up
The freshly drawn visual puts the spotlight on X (Slur) and his associates in full Halloween costume. Raku appears as a pirate complete with an eye patch, X cuts a suave figure as a vampire with an elegant smile, and Kashima rounds out the trio wearing a pumpkin on her head. Each costume reflects the characters’ distinct personalities in a fun and expressive way.
Mini Audio Drama: A Chaotic Halloween
The mini audio drama opens with Kashima enthusiastically dressing Raku up in a pirate costume to get into the Halloween spirit — much to Raku’s apparent displeasure. The situation takes a surprising turn when X shows up in his Dracula outfit, unexpectedly the most enthusiastic of the bunch.
The drama also features a lighthearted debate over the correct pronunciation of “Halloween,” as well as some good-natured ribbing aimed at Kashima’s proudly presented pumpkin costume, making for a warm and comedic listen.
