Comments from Cast and Staff

Takatoo Rui (original author) released a commemorative illustration and reflected on the series’ 12-year serialization history. He noted that the protagonist Haebaru Miuku had realized his ambitious dream of creating the ultimate form of entertainment for men — packed to the brim with both excitement and action. He signed off by wishing fans an enjoyable first season and hoping the world becomes a little more peaceful.

Tojo Hisako (Haebaru Miuku) said she couldn’t stop turning pages when she first read the original manga, feeling the same thrill as Miuku herself. She described the role as one that demands enormous energy and said she is fully fired up for the challenge.

Shiroki Nao (Goshima Sera), who was selected through audition, expressed excitement that taking on the role of Sera feels like opening a brand-new door for her, and pledged to give her all in the recording booth.

Murakami Natsumi (Choi Yuni) highlighted that while the protagonist’s combat power is overwhelming, Yuni is no pushover either, and said she is especially eager to pour her energy into the fight scenes.

Iida Hikaru (Kuwori Reine) said she will do her best to convey the charm of Reine, a character who balances life as both a student and an actress.

Director Ando Takashi promised that the anime’s cast of uniquely quirky characters will run wild on screen, and that the team is working hard to preserve the energy and momentum of the original manga.

Kurosaki Eyo (series composition) described the story as one of a bright, sun-like girl from Okinawa who carves out her own destiny with her fists, declaring: “In the Reiwa era, idols should dazzle with their punches too!”

Iwata Ryuji (character design) said he is delighted to have the opportunity to draw these wonderful idols, and invited fans to enjoy their slightly unusual idol lives.
