About the Paradox Live Franchise

Launched in November 2019 by Avex and GCREST, Paradox Live is set in the near future where rappers wear accessories containing a metallic substance known as Phantom Metal. When Phantom Metal reacts chemically with a rapper’s DNA during a performance, it generates vivid illusions tied to their emotions, giving rise to a spectacular new form of concert entertainment.

TV Anime and Latest Developments

The television anime series premiered on Tokyo MX on October 3, 2023, with Crunchyroll streaming the show simultaneously as it aired in Japan. The franchise also spans CDs, merchandise, and live concert events. Most recently, the franchise’s “4th Season” story arc kicked off this past September.
