The Strike Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY has been announced as the inaugural release of a brand-new figure line called “ABSOLUTE ACT” — a series dedicated to maximising dynamic action poses. Pre-orders are now open through major Japanese retailers including Amazon, Amiami, Sofmap, BicCamera, and Yodobashi Camera.
ABSOLUTE ACTION SYSTEM
The figure stands approximately 185 mm tall and features the proprietary ABSOLUTE ACTION SYSTEM articulation mechanism built into the neck, shoulders, and waist. The engineering is designed to extract the full posing potential of the mobile suit, with sculpt adjustments and molded colours chosen specifically to enhance the look of action poses. The surface geometry is also crafted so that lighting and viewing angle naturally produce striking shadow contrasts.

- Waist rail mechanism — enables dramatic torso twists; combined with a sliding hip joint, it significantly expands the overall range of motion.
- Neck protrusion mechanism — allows the head to be angled forward for an aggressive, dynamic look.
- Shoulder pull-out mechanism — supports a wide variety of rifle-holding poses.
- Single-axis knee joint — eliminates unsightly gaps when the knee is bent, preserving a clean silhouette at any angle.
- Flexible ankle joints — designed for stable ground contact and expressive foot positioning.

The figure is made from ABS plastic, with partial gold paint applications that contrast against the moulded base colours. A bendable-arm display stand optimised for mid-air poses is included in the box.
