Voice Actor Comments
Chimasaki Nobunaga (Eumenes) shared that he feels deeply moved to have received this role. Having been drawn to it ever since reading the first chapter, he has always wanted to play Eumenes, and he is delighted to be involved with Iwaaki Hitoshi’s work once again — confident this will be an outstanding piece.
Suzuki Ryuta (Hieronymus, older) said that immersing himself in the ancient pre-Christian world is a fresh experience that excites him every time he enters the recording booth. He invites fans to stay tuned for the broadcast.
Ichijo Kazuya (Hieronymus, younger) jokingly noted that he has voiced many father roles, but this character is both stern and tender at the same time — to the point that he occasionally broke out laughing in the recording session, and even admitted that the name “Hieronymus” is very hard to say.
Kaida Yuko (Theresila) said she read the manga with great excitement and is committed to conveying the complex emotions Theresila harbors for Eumenes — even the inner conflict she feels.
Takagi Wataru (Carron) spoke of the joy of performing alongside Chimasaki Nobunaga to convey the nuanced feelings Carron holds toward Eumenes.
Surugaoka Satoshi (Hecataeos) noted that the world of this story goes far deeper than general historical knowledge, and he hopes viewers will be immersed in the vivid atmosphere surrounding the characters of that era.
Katsuse Anri (Thracas) said she has been a fan of Iwaaki’s work from the beginning and feels drawn to the magnificent brutality that Thracas possesses.
Mokami Tsugui (Aristotle) revealed that he himself is a fan of the Historie manga and found it surprising that Aristotle in this story is presented as a broadly knowledgeable sage — not merely a philosopher.
Kariya Miki (Periala) is committed to conveying the changing feelings Periala experiences toward Eumenes, and invites viewers to watch this character’s development closely.
Fujiwara Kiyo (Nicocenes) noted that when around Nicocenes, Eumenes shows a more childlike side, and she has tried to make Nicocenes a safe haven for him.
Enoki Junya (Tormides), a long-time fan of the original manga, said the story conveys the inner lives of the characters powerfully without over-explaining, and he sees Tormides as a good friend to Eumenes who provides a calm vantage point.
