Anime magazine Animedia (アニメディア) celebrated its 45th anniversary with the July 2026 issue, released on June 10. Over nearly half a century, the publication has featured countless anime series on its cover, becoming a beloved institution for fans across Japan.
To mark the milestone, anime news site Anime!Anime! conducted a reader survey asking: “Which anime would you most like to see on a magazine cover?” The poll ran from June 6 to June 13 and collected responses from 170 participants. The gender split was roughly even, with respondents aged 19 and under making up approximately 35% of voters, followed by those in their 30s at around 25%.
