The TV anime series MURCIÉLAGO, based on the manga by Kana Yoshimura, has been officially confirmed for a January 2027 broadcast and streaming debut. The announcement was made during Anime NYC 2026, currently underway in New York City, where a first-look art board was also unveiled for the first time.
About the Series
MURCIÉLAGO is a buddy-action series following Kuroko Koumori, a former death-row inmate granted state permission to eliminate dangerous criminals as a government-sanctioned executioner, and her partner Hinako Tozakura, a naturally airheaded girl with extraordinary driving skills. Together they confront the darkest corners of society. The original manga runs in Young Gangan, published by Square Enix.
