The main promotional video for the first cour of TV anime Aoashi Season 2 has been released. The series is based on the manga by Yūgo Kobayashi.
Main PV Highlights
The PV opens on Ashito and his teammates looking overwhelmed by the sheer level of the Premier League, while Akutsu, Kuribayashi, and Kiriki are shown waiting for the newly promoted members of the A-team. The footage captures the characters facing their own weaknesses on a high-level stage as they push toward greater heights. In the latter half, Kuribayashi delivers words of encouragement to Ashito, followed by shots of various characters sprinting across the pitch with a mix of emotions.
Opening and Ending Themes Revealed
The PV also marks the first public airing of both theme songs: the opening theme “Fortress Defense” by 10-FEET, and the ending theme “Triangle” by Higuchi Ai. Both artists shared comments alongside the release.

Aoashi Season 2 (first cour) begins airing on NHK Eテレ from 4 October 2026, every Sunday at 17:00 JST.
Synopsis
Aoashi follows high school students chasing their dream of becoming professional footballers, set against the backdrop of a J-League youth academy. The story blends intense on-pitch drama with the personal growth and relationships of its young cast.
