The BL drama Ao to Midori (青と碧), adapted from the manga by Roji, has revealed its official poster visual. Alongside the announcement, it has been confirmed that boy group ONE N’ ONLY will perform the opening theme “CRUSH ON YOU” — an original track written exclusively for the series.
About the Drama
The series stars Naoya Kusukawa and Hidekazu Chinen in a dual lead setup. The story centers on Hayama Ao, a well-rounded student excelling in both academics and sports, yet so innocent he’s nicknamed “the baby,” and Yamamura Midori, who finds himself drawn to Ao but cannot bring himself to be honest about his feelings due to inner conflict. The result is a tender, emotionally rich BL story of mutual, unrequited longing.
The newly released poster visual features Midori flashing a bright smile and Ao smiling gently beside him, with blue star flowers — a key motif in the series — framing the scene.
Opening Theme: “CRUSH ON YOU” by ONE N’ ONLY
“CRUSH ON YOU” was written specifically for the drama. Member HAYATO shared his thoughts on the song:
“I’m truly happy that we get to perform the opening theme for a work in which one of our members plays the lead. Set to emotional sound, the song delicately expresses the feeling of hearts that keep missing each other, the distance they want to close, and a love that pulls you in even when you can’t be honest. I hope it gently accompanies this beautiful story while cherishing the time and emotions that flow between the two of them.”
