The TV anime Black Clover 2nd Season, based on the manga by Yūki Tabata, has released the first of its “Most Fearsome Battle Visuals” (最恐バトルビジュアル), offering fans a striking new look at the series’ intense action.
A Visual From the Enemy’s Point of View
Built around the concept of “the most fearsome thing is closing in on you,” the visual depicts Asta in his Devil-United (Unite) form bringing the Demon-Slayer Sword down in a powerful strike — rendered entirely from the perspective of the opposing demon god. The framing puts viewers directly in the line of Asta’s attack, amplifying the sense of dread.
Insert Song Scene Featuring Snow Man’s “Grandeur”
Alongside the visual, the production team released an insert-song scene from Episode 3 set to “Grandeur” by Snow Man, a track that originally served as the opening theme for the 13th cour of the 1st Season.
Top-Ranking Devils Lilith and Naamah Revealed
Character design sheets for Lilith/Naamah — supreme-ranking devils who emerge from the Gate of the Underworld — were also unveiled. Voice actress Satsuki Kōfu, who plays both roles, shared her thoughts on the experience:
“I was surrounded by so many incredible senior cast members, and I gave everything I had to portray these powerful devils without falling short. I hope audiences can feel the eerie menace and sheer strength of these two. Please look forward to the Lilith/Naamah battle!”
