The live-action film adaptation of Blue Lock, based on the manga by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and Nomura Yusuke, has revealed three additional cast members: Yagi Yusei of FANTASTICS as Itoshi Rin, Watanabe Keisuke as Aryu Jube, and Natsuo Daiko as Tokimitsu Aoshi.
The New Characters
Itoshi Rin is a player with top-tier ability across every skill a footballer needs. Aryu Jube is a self-styled aesthete who pursues beauty both in his play and his appearance. Tokimitsu Aoshi, despite his timid demeanor, possesses seemingly inexhaustible stamina.
Special Screenings
The film is currently in theatres, and from 21 August 2026 it will also screen in MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema formats. The MX4D and 4DX presentations will sync seat movement, vibration, scent, lighting, wind, and water effects with the on-screen action, putting audiences in the middle of the match. Dolby Cinema will deliver immersive three-dimensional audio capturing details such as players’ breathing and the sound of the ball skimming across the turf.
On 14 August 2026, a nationwide cheering screening event — 「集結せよ、才能の原石どもよ！応援上映イベント」 — will be held simultaneously at 19:00 across five venues in five cities:
