Fans of Bocchi the Rock! have a new reason to get healthy: Japanese health-device brand Tanita has announced a full collaboration lineup with the hit anime, spanning 14 items available exclusively via pre-order through the Tanita Online Shop.

About Bocchi the Rock!

Bocchi the Rock! is based on the four-panel manga by Hamaji Aki, serialized in Manga Time Kirara MAX (Houbunsha). The story follows Goto Hitori, an extremely shy and introverted girl who joins the band Kessoku Band and grows alongside her three bandmates: Ijichi Nijika, Yamada Ryo, and Kita Ikuyo.

The TV anime’s first season aired in autumn 2022 and became a massive hit, winning numerous awards both domestically and internationally. Musically, Kessoku Band’s full album topped Oricon’s annual digital album chart and Billboard JAPAN’s annual download album chart for 2023. A second season is now in production, following the release of a theatrical compilation film.

You’re in great shape to hit the stage!” If muscle mass and basal metabolic rate are above standard, Yamada Ryo might comment “High muscle mass and metabolism. You’ve got a solid core,” while Kita Ikuyo exclaims “You’re in amazing condition!” Streak messages also unlock after 1 or 2+ consecutive weeks of measurements. Data syncs via Bluetooth to the TANITA Record and Health Planet smartphone apps. The scale itself features a black base with each member’s image color on the four sides, a newly drawn illustration of all four characters in the center, and the Kessoku Band logo on the back.

Voice Timer TD-436 — ¥4,950

The TD-436 Voice Timer (Bocchi the Rock! Model) alerts users when time is up using newly recorded messages and music from the four members. Five alarm options are available, including the Kessoku Band track “Seiza ni Naretara” and a line from Goto Hitori: “Oh, it’s… done…! That, um… felt like I played all the way through…” Special sounds include “Seishun Complex” and Ijichi Nijika’s “I totally lost track of time! But let’s keep practicing a ton!” — perfect for study sessions or whenever you need a mood boost. The body features the same newly drawn illustration as the scale, set against each member’s image color.

Digital Thermo-Hygrometer TT-CU — ¥3,520 (4 designs)

The TT-CU Digital Thermo-Hygrometer comes in four character designs, each featuring a close-up face and full-body illustration of one member. It monitors indoor temperature and humidity to help prevent heat stroke, mold, dry skin, and other environment-related health risks.

3D Pedometer FB-741 — ¥3,520 (4 designs)

The FB-741 Pedometer uses a 3D (three-axis accelerometer) sensor and counts steps even when stored in a bag or pocket. It comes with a neck strap and is available in four character color designs, each featuring an illustration of the respective member wearing the pedometer — giving the feel of going for a walk together.

Acrylic Stand — ¥1,650 (4 designs)

The Acrylic Stand features a newly drawn character wearing a pedometer, standing on a base designed to resemble the body composition scale. It is intended to keep health habits top of mind as a daily desk companion. Available in four character designs.
