Fans of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai — better known as Haganai — have plenty to look forward to: an official Anime 15th Anniversary Only Shop in Animate has been announced to celebrate a decade and a half since the series first hit TV screens.
Event Details
The limited-time shop will run from September 5 to 27, 2026, at Animate Akihabara Branch 2 in Tokyo. Attendees can enjoy panel exhibitions, exclusive merchandise sales, and a lottery for special prizes.
About the Anime
Based on the light novel series by Hirasaka Yomi, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai aired its first season of 12 episodes in 2011, followed by a second season, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT, also 12 episodes, in 2013. Two OVA episodes — “Episode 0” and “Episode 13” — were also produced. Animation was handled by AIC Build.
The story follows second-year high schooler Hasegawa Kodaka at St. Chronica Academy, who discovers that the perpetually sullen Mikazuki Yozora has been happily chatting with an imaginary friend. The two team up and form the Neighbor’s Club (Rinjin-bu) — a club dedicated to making friends — kicking off a comedic and romantic slice-of-school-life adventure. Kodaka is voiced by Kimura Ryohei and Yozora by Inoue Marina.

The anniversary shop’s standout feature is its swimsuit-themed artwork, spotlighting all six main heroines: Mikazuki Yozora, Kashiwazaki Sena, Kusunoki Yukimura, Shiguma Rika, Hasegawa Kobato, and Takayama Maria.
