The legendary soccer manga Captain Tsubasa is arriving in a form fashion fans can get excited about. Japanese lifestyle brand BEAMS has teamed with the BEAMS MANGART project to officially launch a collaboration collection titled 「キャプテン翼 × BEAMS MANGART ～Catch the Japan Dream!～」, with sales scheduled to begin on June 5, 2026.
Celebrating BEAMS’ 50th Anniversary with a Soccer Legend
This collection was created to celebrate BEAMS’ 50th anniversary. It brings the world and distinctive motifs of Yōichi Takahashi‘s work to eight types of merchandise, along with stylish soccer-support items.
Captain Tsubasa is a manga by Yōichi Takahashi that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1981 to 1988. It follows Tsubasa Ozora, a soccer prodigy who transfers to Nankatsu Elementary School and grows through battles with rivals across Japan, including Genzo Wakabayashi and Kojiro Hyuga. The series is still ongoing, with its latest installment, Captain Tsubasa Rising Sun FINALS, serialized on the Yanjan+ manga app. It has more than 90 million copies in circulation in Japan.

Special Item: Lottery-Only Tsubasa Ozora Sofubi
In addition to the standard goods, one especially notable item is the BEAMS MANGART 別注 大空翼 ソフビコレクション (Sofubi Collection), an exclusive vinyl figure of Tsubasa Ozora produced for this collaboration. Entries for the purchase lottery are open until May 31 at 11:59 p.m.. This item is available only at participating stores and will not be sold through BEAMS’ official online shop.

In addition, BEAMS Shizuoka, BEAMS HEART Cocoon City, and BEAMS HEART LaLaport EXPOCITY will set up special photo booths for the collaboration, giving fans a place to take commemorative photos.
