A brand-new project called Charamix (キャラミクス) has officially launched, with manga artist Yabuki Kentaro — known for the To LOVEる -Trouble- series and BLACK CAT — joining as Character Producer.
Concept and Goals
Charamix is built around the concept of “a future where your favourite character is by your side every day,” with sleep and dreams as its central themes. The project aims to create a new kind of entertainment experience by fusing characters, artificial intelligence, and behavioural data to help users overcome the challenge of “wanting to keep up a habit but failing to do so” — covering areas such as sleep, health, beauty, and learning. An app is scheduled to launch this autumn.
Staff and Cast
Character scenario writing is handled by Makino Keisuke, a writer with credits on the Persona series. The main cast has also been revealed:
- Myuna — the very first “AI Charat” created; she handles her work diligently but secretly just wants to laze around. Voiced by Tsukine Kona.
- Yohei — a mysterious creature with the traits of both a cat and a ninja. Voiced by Miyake Miu.
Official Supporter Club and Sleep Story Content
An Official Supporter Club has also been established for fans who wish to back the project. Members gain early access to event applications, exclusive member-only events, and limited merchandise distributions. Supporters can also apply to participate in “Sleep Story,” an original narrated reading series to be presented through the app and at events. The narrator for the first instalment will be Tanda Hazuki.
Debut Event
Charamix will hold its first public reveal event on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at TUNNEL TOKYO inside SEGA’s Tokyo headquarters. Attendees on stage will include Yabuki Kentaro, Tsukine Kona, Miyake Miu, Tanda Hazuki, and Makino Keisuke. Limited merchandise will be distributed and sold at the venue.
