The fall 2026 anime Chojun! Chojo Senpai (超巡！超条先輩) has revealed the synopsis and advance scene cuts for its second episode. Episode 2 carries the dual titles “Cat-Searching Corporal” and “Dueling Corporal” and is set to air on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.
About Chojun! Chojo Senpai
Chojun! Chojo Senpai is based on the manga by Numa Shun, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2024 to June 2025. The series is a supernatural police comedy following Chojo Jun, a crime-investigation specialist who wields an arsenal of psychic abilities — including mind-reading, clairvoyance, and telepathy — alongside rookie officer Ippongki Nao, a black-belt judoka whose monstrous strength has earned him the nickname “Gorilla.” Together, this strongest(?) buddy duo keeps the peace in Shinjuku Kabukicho, one of Japan’s most famous entertainment districts.
Episode 2 Synopsis
The episode begins when Togari Riri, a tsundere high-school girl with a deep love of cats, asks the team to find her missing pet. The method they resort to, however, is anything but ordinary: the crew will use psychometry to trace the cat — by reading its droppings. On top of that, the episode also kicks off a full psychic crime investigation making use of hypnosis and mind-reading.
Broadcast Information
Chojun! Chojo Senpai airs in the “Kayou Anival!!” slot on Kantele and the Fuji TV network nationwide. The premiere aired on Tuesday, 6 October 2026 at 23:15 JST; from episode 2 onward, new episodes air every Tuesday at 23:00 JST.
