The theatrical anime film COWBOY BEBOP: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door is set to return to Japanese cinemas in a brand-new 4K remaster from October 30, 2026. To mark the occasion, two special stage greeting events have been announced at TOHOCinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo.
Preview Screening with Stage Greeting — October 23, 2026
An advance screening accompanied by a stage greeting will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026 at the 18:30 showing. Taking the stage will be:

- Yoko Kanno — Composer
- Dai Sato — MC
Tickets are priced at ¥3,000 (tax included).
Opening Commemoration Stage Greeting — October 31, 2026
A two-session stage greeting to celebrate the film’s official opening will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the 9:55 and 13:20 screenings. Guests on stage will include:
