The D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was held from August 14–16, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Tens of thousands of Disney fans from around the world gathered for what was described as the largest show floor in the event’s history, featuring immersive experiences and exclusive content.

The centerpiece of the weekend was the Disney Entertainment Showcase, held in the evening at the Honda Center. The event was hosted by Ginnifer Goodwin — the voice of Judy Hopps in Zootopia 2 — and Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan, who voiced Gary in the same film. Josh D’Amaro, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, opened the showcase with remarks about the unique bond Disney shares with fans across generations and borders. Dana Walden, President and Chief Creative Officer of Disney Entertainment, then took the stage alongside Bart Simpson to unveil a special look at a new The Simpsons movie, set for a U.S. theatrical release in September 2027.

Disney & Pixar Games and Square Enix also revealed new details for Kingdom Hearts IV, confirming a world based on Coco and announcing a late-2027 release window.

The Marvel segment opened with Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, joined by Paul Bettany (Vision) and James Spader (Ultron). The trio unveiled the first trailer and poster for VisionQuest, a new Marvel Television original series streaming exclusively on Disney+ from October 14. The series serves as the concluding chapter of a trilogy that began with WandaVision (2021) and continued with Agatha All Along (2024).
