About the DAN DA DAN Manga

This manga is serialized on Shonen Jump+, published by Shueisha. Volume 24 of the collected edition goes on sale on June 4, while the English edition published by Viz Media will release Volume 19 on June 9. The manga is also available to read online via Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service.

The story follows Takakura, a young man deeply into the occult, and Ayase, a girl who dismisses the supernatural, as the two are forced to confront paranormal events that flip each other’s worldviews — weaving together action, mystery, and a distinctly unique brand of romance. The work won the 71st Shogakukan Manga Award earlier this year.

Anime and Upcoming Seasons

The first season of the anime aired in Japan in October 2024 on TBS and MBS — twelve episodes available worldwide on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Hulu. Season 2 began airing in July 2025 and likewise concluded at twelve episodes. Season 3 is scheduled to air in 2027.
