The manga 「脱サラ僧侶のダンジョン葬送配信」(Dassara Souryo no Dungeon Sousou Haishin) volume 1 officially went on sale on May 22. The work is adapted from a novel by Tamori Memo (十森メモ) and illustrated by None (のね).
Story Overview
The protagonist is Daichi, a salaryman who quits his job to reinvent himself as a dungeon explorer. The class he receives is “Monk (僧侶),” which should normally specialize in healing — except Daichi never learned a single healing skill, leaving no party willing to take him on.
Out of necessity, he ventures into dungeons as a solo explorer and, through sheer determination, manages to defeat his first slime. But the skill he unlocks from leveling up isn’t healing at all — it’s “Cremation (火葬),” the ability to reduce enemies to ash in an instant.
From here the story follows the adventures of this “ex-salaryman monk,” someone with no skills by the book yet possessing an extraordinary hidden ability that no one could have predicted.
