The manga でっどどんととーく (Dead Don’t Talk) by Kanada Aki (金田あき) went on sale officially on May 22.
Story
One year after a massive zombie outbreak wiped out civilization, research has found that zombies split into two groups: heavy zombies and light zombies. The latter group has lost the ability to spread infection and poses no threat to humans.
Yamada, a high school girl in the latter days of her youth, continues to attend school alongside Sakamoto, a childhood friend who became a light zombie. Even though Sakamoto can no longer speak and his face barely registers a smile or a scowl, the two still walk side by side every day.
Later, Matsubara, a younger girl whose mother is also a light zombie, joins their group — and all three begin sharing their lives together in a world still full of uncertainty.

This work is serialized in the magazine Monthly Afternoon (月刊アフタヌーン), published by Kodansha (講談社), and goes on sale today in its first collected volume.
