The manga is an adaptation of Dolls Nest, a 3D action game by Nitroplus. Handling the script is Maeshima Ken (前島賢), who originally wrote the game’s scenario under the pen name Daiki Renji (大樹連司). Rather than a straightforward retelling, the manga reconstructs the story from a fresh perspective, offering a new take on the world and characters of the original game.
Synopsis
Yoyo, a “Nymph” girl who considers herself defective, scrapes by collecting garbage in the middle layers of Hodo — a vast, deep vertical pit. Her life changes when she encounters Hati, a pilgrim of Arcand who is descending into the depths of Hodo in search of the world’s truth.
