Japan Post will launch a limited-edition merchandise collection inspired by an original illustration from Fujiko F. Fujio‘s Doraemon, featuring the iconic blue robot cat holding a letter. The items go on sale on October 9 through Japan Post’s online shop and at post offices nationwide.
Six Items in the “Otegami” (Letter) Collection
The lineup consists of six products, each designed around the charming letter-holding illustration and finished in a refined, muted color palette:
- Plush Mascot — A compact Doraemon stuffed mascot rendered in subdued tones for a chic, understated look.
- Boat-shaped Pouch — A stylish pouch printed with the letter illustration.
- Tape Measure Keychain — A compact retractable tape measure that doubles as a keychain.
- Clear Stickers — Transparent stickers suitable for letters, laptops, and smartphones.
- Kraft Envelope Set — Brown kraft envelopes printed with the Doraemon illustration.
- Kraft Tape — Decorative adhesive tape featuring the same illustration, perfect for wrapping or sealing packages.
As a limited-edition release, the collection is expected to appeal to both longtime Doraemon fans and collectors of character stationery goods.
