The anime Dorohedoro (ドロヘドロ), based on the manga by Hayashida Q, has been officially confirmed to be in production with Season 3 currently underway. Director Hayashi Yuichiro has shared a special illustration to help celebrate this announcement.
The illustration depicts Haru, the demon girl, singing with intensity and passion, bursting with energy for the arrival of Season 3 — vividly conveying the production team’s excitement about the new season.
Additionally, to celebrate the finale of Season 2 — which streamed on May 27 — the team also released an Anime Music Video (MV) for the opening song “Zettai MUST Danmen” by the group (K)NoW_NAME.
About Dorohedoro
Dorohedoro follows Caiman, a man who has lost his memories and been cursed by a sorcerer to have a lizard head. He sets out alongside his dear friend Nikaido to hunt down the sorcerer responsible and reclaim his true face.
The original manga began serialization in the magazine Monthly IKKI around the year 2000, before moving to Hibana and then Gessan (both under Shogakukan) in succession. It concluded in 2018. In 2020, it was adapted into a TV anime for Season 1, and after a five-year gap, Season 2 returned through various streaming platforms starting in April of this year.
