The TV anime 「ドルアーガの塔 ～the Sword of URUK～」(Druaga no Tou ~the Sword of URUK~) is returning to TOKYO MX for a rebroadcast run beginning July 5, 2026.
About the Series
The Druaga no Tou anime series was produced by studio GONZO, based on the classic arcade and home video game 「ドルアーガの塔」. The franchise spans two seasons: the first, Druaga no Tou ~the Aegis of URUK~, aired in 2008, followed by the second season, Druaga no Tou ~the Sword of URUK~, in 2009.
The second season centers on Jil, the protagonist who is plunged into despair after being cruelly betrayed by his trusted companion Kaaya. A chance encounter with a mysterious girl named Kai reignites his resolve, and he once again takes up the challenge of climbing the endless tower.
TOKYO MX had been airing a rebroadcast of the first season up until June 28, leading directly into this second-season run.
