Today (May 27), publisher Akita Shoten has officially released volume 1 of 「Fantasy Ginga ~Nande Uchu ni Goblin ya Orc ga Iru n da~」 (Fantasy Galaxy ~Why Are There Goblins and Orcs in Space?~). The manga is drawn by Arai Harumaki, based on the light novel by Tsukita Gen, and is currently serialized on Young Champion Web.
Synopsis
Jinguji Sen, a 55-year-old bachelor who took early retirement from the civil service to live freely, loves solo camping and spending his nights gazing at a starry sky. But one night while star-gazing from his tent, an unknown light suddenly envelopes him and whisks him away in an instant.
When he comes to once more, he finds himself aboard a spaceship and is greeted by Zario, a humanoid with dog-like features. This ship serves as a supply vessel for goblin-kind, and in the near future he will have to join in battle against the orcs as well. A universe teeming with unbelievable fantasy races is just beginning for this retired civil servant.
