Fans of Sousou no Frieren (葬送のフリーレン) have new merchandise to look forward to: a charming “yuru-kawa” (loosely cute) goods lineup featuring Frieren in three hilariously relatable scenarios. Pre-orders are now open at Animate stores nationwide, the Animate Online Shop, and the Movic Online Shop.
About Sousou no Frieren
Sousou no Frieren is a manga serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, written by Yamada Kanehito and illustrated by Abe Tsukasa. Set in the aftermath of a hero’s party defeating the Demon King, the story follows Frieren — a mage who has lived for over a thousand years — as she embarks on a new journey with people she meets along the way.
The TV anime’s first season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, with a second season running from January to March 2026. A third season, subtitled “Ougonkyou-hen” (黄金郷編), is scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2027.
Three Playful Frieren Themes
The new goods draw on illustrations styled after the plush-toy-like Frieren artwork that previously went viral on social media. The lineup covers three designs:
- ROUDOU (労働) — Working Frieren
- YAKINIKU (焼肉) — Yakiniku Frieren
- JANSOU (雀荘) — Mahjong Parlor Frieren
Products across these three designs include acrylic stands, clear files, can badge sets, and sticker sets.
