The three-sided case illustration for the Fushigi Yuugi Blu-ray BOX has been revealed. The artwork was newly drawn by original creator Yuu Watase especially for this release.
The cover features main characters Miaka Yuki and Tamahome, along with all seven Celestial Warriors of Suzaku.
The Fushigi Yuugi Blu-ray BOX is scheduled for release on August 26, giving fans a special chance to revisit treasured memories in sharper image quality.

Congratulations on the Blu-ray release of Fushigi Yuugi! I have been quietly waiting for this day for so long, and I am truly happy. Encountering this work and being given the role of Miaka was a gift in my life. Every scene carries memories, and Miaka’s feelings are still alive in my heart. Tamahome’s voice, Yui-chan, the seven warriors of Suzaku and Seiryu, Tamahome’s family, her brother… there is too much to write down. I want to dive into the world of Fushigi Yuugi again together with everyone!

Congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the TV broadcast. Has it really been that long? I am very surprised. My fans may have heard this before, but for me personally, Fushigi Yuugi has always been one of the works I most want to recommend. As an actor, portraying the differences between Tamahome and Sukunami Wei was a very enjoyable challenge. Now the Blu-ray is arriving at just the right time. A great work deserves to be preserved in the clearest form possible. I hope everyone falls in love with the world of Fushigi Yuugi all over again, and that this release helps introduce it to the next generation.
